Members of our Haiti chapter are actively engaged in helping young people develop a sense of civic responsibility.
They recently implemented a civic education project in the Carrefour-Feuilles neighborhood. This project was implemented in two steps:
a) A Train-the-trainer session with 12 civic education trainers by the Haiti Chapter President.
b) The delivery of a 3-day seminar, targeting 120 students of the Decayettes area of Carrefour-Feuilles.
The second phase was executed by Association of Youth for Haiti’s Economic Strengthening (AJEREH). 10 of the 12 trainers from the first event facilitated the seminar.
This event showed our values in action. We don’t simply say the word “partners;” we truly believe in working together with other organizations for the good of Haiti.
